^I'm putting mine off, too!
Okay, I have this 3,000 word allegory due on Tuesday, and I'm probably 2 thirds of the way done. I'm kinda freaking out, 'cause I hate this assignment, and it's SO hard not to make the story cheesey, you know?

But other than that I'm happy. *dances some more* "Check the gate..." lol I had a church recital thingy tonight for choir and hanbells. Now I have tons of HW, and I'm still putting it off, and that's a bad thing, because it's late at night. woohoo. Yup, there I go rambling...*yaks some more*

Bah! My day was very very stressful. Two finals today. One in Comparative Politics, and the other in Spanish. I've been up since real early this morning cramming information into my head. Don't think it really helped. At lunch, I was sitting with all my books spread out on a table and I just felt that no more information could be placed in my head. And I hadn't even taken a final! Ack. And then, during my C.P. final, there was a girl with this massive wad of gum in her mouth chewing and popping so loudly, you could hear her arcross the room. Man, could NOT concentrate. ACK! And my roommate has decided she should take MY rug home with her. Without even telling me! I got back from my Spanish final and it was gone. And she got back a few hours later to tell me she took it home. WHAT?! I was in such a state of shock that I couldn't say anything. I bought the bloody rug! And she thinks it's hers. *slams head on desk* NOT a good start to the week. Not even close to ready for the two cumalitive finals I have coming up. *sigh* Okay...just needed to get that out of the way.
Other than that, my day was great!

Bleh... really bad day over here...
I found out about a project for school that is due this Friday, we've got to memorise and recite a passage from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Usually, that memorising stuff is pretty easy for me, but then I found out it had to be at least 25 lines and I nearly had a heart attack. Then, I found out about another project for Chemistry where we have to pick a disease or disorder and do a report on what it is, how it's diagnosed, treatment, prognosis, etc. What really makes me mad is that diseases have nothing to do with Chemistry at all!!!
After school I came home and worked on my report before I had to leave for ballet classes. When I got home I felt really sick for some reason, and I didn't take a shower or eat dinner because I had to dress up to go to Becca's Primary School Choir performance. [Which lasted F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!!!]
Finally I got to take a shower, and now I feel somewhat better after drinking a couple of glasses of water and taking an aspirin.
I'm done rambling now...

heh heh...*coughs* I had a loely day yesterday. I'm going into High School next year, which means I get to join marching band. Marching band is a great american tradition where band members play their instruments while marching around a football field when its 100 degrees outside in ridiculous costumes. When you're not doing that, you practie, which means you get to do the exact same thing minus the crazy outfit, plus a really hot blacktop to march on. So, as an incoming freshman, we got to go to our high school after school yesterday to practice for the first time with the upperclassmen. They were just teaching us to 'stand at attention' when I felt a bit dizzy. I had just come back from a water break, so I figured it was nothing. Then it got really dizzy. I thought, "Maybe I should sit down." The next thing I thought was, "Scratch that, let's just try to stay balanced!" By that point I was swaying back and forth. Next thing I knew I was being carried off the blacktop by the two band directors. Soooo...everyone from my school freaked out, everyone from the high school freaked out, and I get to start high school with the reputation as 'that freshman that fainted.' w00t. On the plus side...I got to sit inside an AC-ed building drinking water for the entire practice with two other upperclassmen that had fainted as well. (They say they always lose at least one person a practice. Something seems wrong here...) And, I got to watch all my friends practice in the heat. Moohahaha. Lol. But I also had to endure 200 people asking me, "Are you okay???" and then today at school just about all of my teachers, friends, acquaintences, and random people in the hallway flipped out when they saw me. Plus I have a lump on my head from when I fell. And my butt hurts reeeeeally bad. And I scraped up my elbow. So! Anyway. Other than that my day was great.

Yikes RA, that sounds like quite the experience! My whole week has been, and is going to be, AWESOME! It's grade 12 grad week! w00t!!!! Lol, pretty much on Thursday, we have commencement, with the whole cap and gown and everything. Then on Friday it's ballgowns all the way! Everyone dresses to the nines for the banquet, then we head to the Legislature for fancy pics, then after-parties! Unlike most schools here, we don't have a prom (no dancing ) I don't mind that much tho. I am finally getting so excited! My first manicure ever on Friday morning! The funny thing is, Friday is still a usual school day for the rest of the school, but the teachers "ignore" any grads who miss class to get ready. Most of my friends (and me) are not going at all! It will be fantastic! If I can, I might post pictures. Counting the hours...

Mine was pretty good, actually! We had to drive a while to take pictures for an "audition" as stand-ins for an upcoming movie. My mom, sister and brother tried out with me. It was really fast, just a picture and then "see ya!" And I had VERY little homework! It was awesome!

Oh that's SO cool, Gwen! What movie? (if you don't mind my asking...) Wow, Rin. That's intense. Marching band here was never that bad. We thought it was, but then again...we aren't used to ridiculously hot weather. Just the cold weather.... YAY for Marching Band!!!! *jumps up and down* Hmm. Well, my day started off bad. Because it started at 1 am!!! See, I had a final early this morning (not at 1) so I decided to go to bed kind of early. AND I'd been feeling really lousy yesterday (I now have a nasty cold) and so I was just exhausted. BUT, my roommate, decided she was going to stay up doing ABSOLUTELY nothing on her d**n computer. I think she was watching stupid funny little videos on YouTube. So, I had a headache that was turning into a migraine....and I couldn't get to sleep...music didn't help. And so about 1:30 am I decided to take some NiQuil...basically as a sleeping pill...but it didn't kick in until around two. *slams head on desk* And the reason I didn't take it until then was because I KNEW it would knock me out for HOURS. And I needed to be up early, not just for my test, but to study as well. And I didn't get up until 8:45...and the test was at 10. Oh man...I was angry. And the FINAL. Oh man. It was SO hard. It was a cumulative final over EVERYTHING we learned in Political Theory...you may think that one semester isn't that hard...yeah...I had an entire notebook FULL of notes. But after the test, my day started getting better. I sold my books back to make a whopping $62!!! Had an awesome lunch, applied for a job and then came back to see my roommate is less than an hour away from being out of my life FOREVER! I'm so nice. Ha ha ha. But then, we took down everything on our door. Which was depressing. See, our door became the coolest door on our floor because we put really random things on it...all these post it notes with funny sayings and such...hard to explain. But we had to take it all down which as I said, was depressing. But, at least my roommate is leaving for good! Might get a good night sleep the last night I'm here. Ha ha ha. So, my day started out bad, but looks like it might improve!!!

I'm barely half-way done my day but oh well. I rode to the libary today, and asked the librarian for some volunteer hours--yay. I need some experience in a library if I'm going to be working in one someday. I also did some thinking about my last couple years of school. I think I need to declare a minor, and I'm torn between German and art history. German would be way cool, as it's my favourite foreign language, but art history is something that interests me as well, and will probably be about the same difficulty level as German. If I do art history, maybe I could get a job working in an art museum's library...agh--the decisions are killing me! Today I'm going to rehearse for my recital on Sunday. I will need many prayers, as one of the pieces is by Henry Purcell--and it's extremely difficult!

*reads about everyone's day(s)* Wow... it's weird because it's all the end of the year for all of you. *is kind of envious* Today was pretty awful. I had three major test/assessment things, so I basically spent all day feeling really stressed, and talking to other people who were also feeling really stressed. Because I had three assesments at once, and I had another one yesterday, I haven't been able to study for all of them properly! Plus I missed a bit of school last week, and therefore had work to catch up on on top of studying... They didn't go well. At least I managed to get all finished except Literature (which has got to be the worst essay I have written all year), but she said that in Lit essays conclusions and the like are less important, which is something. I think I did the best I could on the others, given the time I had, and they weren't scarily hard like maths yesterday... So all in all I am incredibly relieved that it is the weekend!

YAY WEEKEND! Last night was my schools' big end-of-year formal dance for the eighth graders, and I went against the will of anything in me that has not yet succombed to hormones. I dressed up and everything, but everyone else was too, so it wasn't like I was overly girly. I hope. I'm keeping on the little wristband they give you when you go to Schlitterbahn even though it looks ugly, and I refused to cut it off last night. So I kept my nerdiness intact. My friends and I just hung out, we didn't dance much; we played games, ran around, and enjoyed the free food. ;D It was fun! Then I slept over at a friend's house, and we stayed up til 2 AM watching The Two Towers. Hehe!

I spent all day doing practise exams and procrastinating from doing practise exams... not very exciting, but not particularly strenuous either. I have a pyschology exam tomorrow *gulps* and at the moment I'm putting off marking the last practise exam I did. I'm so ... over this whole exam thing...

Well, since this day is only half-over, I'll talk about yesterday. Well, first I got up at 7:30 (I was still sooo sleepy) and then ate breakfast and got ready for church. At 8:30 me and my sister and brother and dad drove up to the church, for worship practice. Then after church and all that my sister and her friend went kyaking, and my little brother had his friend over (my boyfriends brother actully). I was so bored I hung out with them for a while, they were amusing. After that I didn't really do much... made some dinner for myself... went on the comp... read... then went to bed. Exciting, huh?

Sounds fun, Luth Today was kind of yucky for me. I was sick with stomach flu all day, but I did get to sleep in and go on the computer, so it wasn't too, too horrible.
