There's....a prophecy, 'When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone sits in if Cair Paravel in throne the evil is over and done.' Was copying that to post in a Narnia rp with a friend.

Well, this is the entire post of truly the longest RP post I've ever written... no need to read it, I'm sure it'll make no sense whatsoever out of context. ;D ((Very long. I took a bit of liscense in putting in the elf's perspective, but I thought it might help to have that.)) The elf said something that sounded like...like gibberish. It wasn't English, anyway. This was an altogether unexpected set-back. Matt said something in the same language - at least, she hoped it was the same - and that was a relief...still... "Don't you speak English?" she asked the pointy-eared felow. The elf - if it was an elf, for that hadn't quite been confirmed yet - merely looked at her curiously and answered in the same fashion. "Uh - parlesvous francais?" Irene tried again. "No, that's not right, I don't know French." Her brain felt like it had sticky joints that needed to be oiled. Perhaps she should just sit down and wait for something to happen. If it was a dream, they were all having it, but perhaps one could dream that others were dreaming the same thing, but - Sit down, she told herself. Rest your brain. She sat down and put her head in her hands. The elf watched the young ones curiously. They seemed to be of the race of Men, and some seemed to be stricken by something, and none seemed to be taking his appearance all that well. And they were speaking the Common Tongue, of which he knew little, though one had called him friend in the Elven language - though he had never seen him before - and the long-haired one seemed to be asking if he was an elf. But she had given up now, and sat on the ground. They were no danger, but there was danger near. He must get them up and away: he could find out more of them later. He turned to long-hair and the one-who spoke-elvish and said, haltingly, “I...am - elf." He watched as her head snapped up and she stared at him. He pointed in the direction of the sounds that were coming from the thicker brush, and saw her eyes grow startled. The noises! Irene had forgotten all about them when the elf came, but they certainly would not be another elf, for elves don't make that kind of a noise. He now pointed at the others and at the direction he had come out of the trees. If only she had time to absorb it all. But were the noises coming closer? Imagination or not, she told herself, no time to find out. "The noises," she stage-whispered. "Matt! Martin! Morgan! Morgan?"

This is a really cool game idea! ------------------------------- How many people would talk about something as obscure as the first rule of blogging? All of my diary-keeping-related rules have been personal goals more than rules I would expect to apply to everyone. However, this is what happens when you google that phrase: • The first rule of blogging is you do not talk about blogging. • First rule of blogging...Don't overwrite image files • The first rule of blogging is, “never attempt to make up rules about blogging.” • The first rule of blogging - You LINK to people you blog about, especially if they include a link in the comment that sparked your post. • The first rule of blogging is you must blog every day. • Apparently the first rule of blogging is… (wow, have you ever Googled for “the first rule of blogging”? Seriously, there’s like a hundred different first rules. So I guess the real first rule is: “Everybody’s got an opinion.” Or maybe: “People post all kinds of crap on blogs and nobody checks anything so you can’t trust a d**n thing they say.”) But the one I had in mind when I started this paragraph was: “You must blog every day.” [Herenya says – yeah, this what I was reading when I decided to google this phrase in the first place] • First rule of blogging - In lieu of actual content, present pictures of cats. [This site had an interesting quote at the top. “Always read something that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it. - P.J. O'Rourke”] • First rule of blogging: Never ask an artist to write one. • Maybe the first rule of blogging should be, Don’t dish out what you aren’t ready to get back tenfold. • Of course, the first rule of blogging is to make it a daily habit. • The first rule of blogging should be: don’t start a conversation unless you have the time to participate into it. • First rule of blogging: If your purpose of blogging is anything other than passion for the subject, you will fail at that purpose. ... • The First Rule of Blogging: always assume that anything you write could be read by anyone, I find it amusing to see what other people’s ideas of blogging are. I like this one - “the first rule of blogging: being open and honest.” Mine to add to the collection is “there are no real rules about blogging.” --------------------- Ah. Personal blog entry. There was more - I think I went on to talk about table rearrangement in the common room ( ) and so on... I'm really surprised that this still showed up - I posted this hours ago!
