I just felt like getting your opinions on which character you feel was most similar to the one in the book.

Hmmm...well, I thought they were all portrayed greatly. I'm so nice. Erm, but I voted for Edmund/Skandar. Hmmm...what is it with my complex admiration for Ed? *sigh* Oh well. I think Jim did a great job as the Professor. Total spaz! Ha ha ha....And Lucy/Georgie and Tumnus/James rocked. Okay, so they were all awesome! But I had to vote for SOMEONE.... ;D

I thought Lucy was lovely. I'm a huge Georgie Henley fan now after watching the film with the audio commentary. Although, I think I share Montana's complex admiration for Edmund. He will always be my favourite character. He also did a fine job. He was the perfect little brother...believe me, I've got two of 'em!

I'd have to say Lucy. Georgie Henley was AMAZINGLY expressive. She was great! I never liked the character Lucy very much in the book, I don't know why. I think it's older sister syndrome...I was annoyed by the little sister being the 'perfect' one. Lol. But I couldn't resist loving Lucy in the movie! She was played marvelously. And to think of how young Georgie is...wow, she's just amazing! I'm a Georgie fan now, too. *end long rant*

I voted myself. ;D
I chose Edmund/Skandar, agreeing with what everyone else said. Edmund was probably one of the hardest characters to play, but Skandar...wow! He was totally believable! His transformation was not "fake" at all, I had no complaint for any of his lines.
But I have to say that Georgie also did a superb job as Lucy. So darling.

Argh, its such a toss up between Skandar and Georgie! I voted for Georgie, though, I adored her in the film, and I think she is even cuter in real life! But besides the cuteness factor, I believe she was amazing as Lucy. It was quite the difficult first part for an 8 year old, but she was nearly flawless. Hooray for the Georgie fans!

I agree with what you all have said, but I decided to vote for my favourite villain, Jadis the White Witch. Ever since I was a kid, she was fascinating and scary at the same time. I really think that Tilda was great (especially the dreadlocks, though they weren't black), that she understood the WW, and what motivated her. I can picture her destroying Charn and driving the cab on the London streets. Every character had little flaws, because the movie was made from Andrew Adamson's memories, not mine. But, I think all of them, especially Tumnus, Jadis and the Pevensies, were the closest to the books as I remembered them.

I loved the movie because there were so many believable performances. The depth of the book definitely came through in the movie.
But Aslan! His laugh... his roar.... his engaging gentleness yet powerful and awesome presence that comands respect. I guess he is everything I immagined and then some....

I'd have to say Edmond. He did such a wonderful job, I think out of all the actors his talent shone through the most. I think the other 3 Pevensies did a wonderful job too.

Well, this is very hard for me, seeing as all the characters were somewhat different from the books. (for instance, they all argued more. ) And it's really hard to decide, because Peter, Edmund, Lucy and Aslan were all acted beautifully. I suppose it would be either Peter or Edmund. Now let's analyze. I almost just said "Skandar" instead of "Edmund". This either means that he did a worse job than the others, or that he is so different from his character, which means he did a fantastic job. I'll vote for fantastic. Edmund!
