I thought, chances are that since this is a forum about books (partly), chances are a lot of you read. So I wondered what you were all reading (trying to read, avoiding reading and so on) at the moment... I'm reading Emma by Jane Austen. It's a bit slow going (my reading it, not the book itself ) and sometimes the main character irritates me, but I like it so far. Also, the language and the historical differences are making it interesting.

I am reading Evil Star by Anthony Horwitz right now. It is intresting, although the theme is pretty dark. I am enjoying it.

I have this horrible tendancy to read like, 5 things at once. So right now I am reading Jane Eyre by Jane Austen, The Two Towers and Unfinished tales by Tolkien, and The Guardian by Dee Henderson. All very good books, I must say, but quite a lot of summer reading!

I have similar tendencies to the person above, in reading too many books at a time, but surprisingly, I'm only reading one at the moment. It's called "The Whisper of Glocken", and I'm enjoying it, mostly. The characters aren't enjoying themselves very much, though, which makes it slightly happiness-supressing, even while it makes for a good story.

I've just finished Edge of Glass by Catherine Gaskin (rather light, not one of her best) and at the moment I'm reading The Other Side of the Rainbow, which is the autobiography about the Irish singer Maire Brennan. It's really interesting I'm also reading Flesh and Blood, which is the third book in a futuristic series I read a few years ago. It's very muhc light reading (no where near as good as the first) and I'm only reading it because I picked it up in the library and realised I just wanted to know what happens! Silly reason, but there you go...

I'm reading a book called "What about Evans?" (i'm pretty sure thats what its called ) by Agatha Christie. Its an old murder mystery (from like the 40s or 50s I think). I'm enjoying it, even though it tends to be a little slow somtimes.

I'm actually re-reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Ohh, I love Agatha Christie's books. Well, I've only read Murder on the Orient Express, but I liked that one very much. ;D

I have to admit that I'm not reading anything right now. I'm too busy working, plus, when I go back to University in September, I will be bombarded with reading! But the last book I read was, DaVinci Code, I believe. Someone talked me into it
