I feel really uncomfortable doing this since I know from experience that feeling like members are criticising/attacking how you run/mod the place is unpleasant, to say the least. So I want to make sure you know I'm not doing that! I think you admins and mod are doing a great job! You've got a great forum. *hugs* thanks for starting a small, friendly Narnia forum. I think it would help if you kept on posting. I sometimes find it hard to find somewhere else to post, if I'm short of ideas (or too tired ), especially if I was the last person to post anything. Even if you end up having discussions amongst the three of you, it makes it easier for members to join in. And it shows people that this forum is cared about, if they turn up and find that it has people posting frequently everywhere. It gives a good impression that it is being cared about. I've just had experience being a member of a really small (under 30 members) for over a year, and sometimes there were only three people posting for a while. But to keep it up meant the forum kept on growing... : Thanks for reading this. ~ Herenya

Thanks for the suggestion Herenya, all input is appreciated, of course. I know what you mean, our forum is rather small and slow, which I consider to be a good thing most of the time. The problem lies in the lack of posters and the fact of summer, I do believe. So many people are travelling and busy, such as Gwen and myself, that consistant posting is proving difficult. However, I completely agree with you that the three of us should set the example and keep the forum frequently changing with new posts. I have made it a goal for myself to do research and post more, simply to create diverse topics and start good conversations. Don't doubt that we love AC, but I ask for your patience as schedules and such get smoothed out until the regular year. Long enough post, but it is necessary. Again, thank you for your comments Herenya, know that I am taking it to heart! ~Luth

That's okay - I understand. I actually hadn't thought of everyone being away. It's a bit different for me, since it's not summer here, so I'm stuck at home procrastinating... Enjoy the nice weather *is envious* Thanks for listening.

Ahh yes... The forum does seem a bit slow, but hopefully through time (this summer) we will have more members join, as word gets around more. Its hard to let people know about the forum, Gwenneth (Or Luthien of Lorien, I can't remember) has a thread over at AU, and i've invited some friends (that I know in RL and are fans of Narnia). For now, I know it can seem a bit frusterating because there are not many members. But just bear with us (this is for all the members) for the time being (I know you guys are . You are all wonderful members, and we (us moddys) apreciate all of you joining! You guys are great.

You don't need a lot of member to actually get a forum going. Five people posting on a regular basis will do just as well. But I do understand what you mean. More members does help... I guess I just don't want to see this become another one of those forums that stop altogether because everyone is waiting for more members to join...

I hope that dosn't happen too! I must admit that I am a bit slow on posting... I am like that on every forum. Its mostly because i'm busy and don't really have the time to check out every thread. I'm going to make more of an effort though

I actually saw this thread about a week ago but was scared off since it was a suggestion. Yes, it's my guilt of neglecting this place. Though I have been gone for some time this summer, I haven't been putting in as much effort as I could or should. I'm glad this little hideaway is doing things -- I was expecting quite the opposite. So thank you, Herenya. *Hugs back*
