I was wondering which ones were your favourite out of the books? I've always said The Silver Chair, for reasons that maybe have been known to my 9-yr-old self, but I have since forgotten. The Silver Chair is a bit darker than the previous books - they argue, they stuff up, they make a lot of mistakes. Perhaps I felt that I could identify with the characters more because of this...? The Horse and his Boy, however, is also a close favourite, and I can't really decide between them! I love the other books a lot, but those two are my particular favourites.... So, what about you?

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I think. It has a wonderful fairy-tale quality of discovery that none of the other books quite have. But The Magician's Nephew is a close second, I think. Maybe. But I like them all so much I'm not sure.

I hate to sound cliche, but I'd have to go with The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I don't really know why. It's kind of strange, but in my opinion, it seemed more realistic, more down-to-earth.
I did like The Magician's Nephew....I found it really neat. Really up until the creation of Narnia. After that....well, for my own personal reasons I rather disliked it. But you know, the whole idea of that wood of worlds....and I really liked the world Jadis is from...and that whole thing. I found it very beautifully written.
But...oh I don't know. TLTW&TW has always been my favourite....just something about it that catches the imagination...I think it's grounded so that...even though these fantastical things and creatures are all around and happening...you accept it and just deal with it. But by TVOTDT and The Last Battle...it was so, over the top almost. Do you guys know what I mean? Bah...oh well.
TLTW&TW is first and then TMN.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I think. It has a wonderful fairy-tale quality of discovery that none of the other books quite have. I don't know, I think my favorite is The Silver Chair for that exact same reason. [Voyage was actually my least favorite ] I just love the whole enchantment theme, it really attracts me. I also love Jill and Eustace's relationship, along with Puddleglum. I'm quite fond of Rilian, too. And the story also has that quest kind of feel to it. A lost Prince under an enchantment, three unlikely people off to save him, and of the course the Witch is brilliant. I absolutely LOVE that scene at the end when she strums on her harp and attempts to make them all forget about Overworld. Um, yeah, enough rambling. I vote Silver Chair.
