Well, I must bring forth the subject of movies vs. books, I think, because in the movies, as mentioned earlier, Peter was much bossier than in the books. In the books, the children got on well enough, and I think that perhaps Edmund kept his resentment inside, for the most part, and the Turkish Delight intensified that resentment and brought it more to light. So Ed made two mistakes, I think: resenting his siblings in the first place, and accepting food from a stranger. As to Edmund-Peter, I like Edmund (even if I still scream at him in my mind "Noooo!! don't take it, don't take it don't! Eat! It! Augh! You ate it!"), but I also like Peter, and somehow, no conflict. Isn't that odd?
